Third Solo UK No.1 Album for David Gilmour with Luck and Strange
David Gilmour has secured the No.1 spot on this week’s UK Official Albums Chart with his latest release, Luck and Strange, which also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart.
This is the third solo chart-topper for Gilmour, following Rattle That Lock in 2015 and On an Island in 2006. As a member of Pink Floyd, he achieved six No.1 albums in the UK.
Gilmour told Official Charts: “I’d like to thank everyone who’s bought my new album, Luck And Strange, and helped to make it Number 1 in the Official Albums Chart.”
