Sony Music UK nominations at 2019 Music Week Awards
Sony Music UK artists, labels and campaigns have been shortlisted for this year’s Music Week Awards, in association with YouTube Music.
Columbia Records are up for four awards: A&R, Artist Marketing Campaign (for George Ezra), Promotions Team and Record Company; George Ezra is nominated for Artist Marketing Campaign and PR Campaign; and Syco Music are in the running for A&R and Promotions Team.
There are further nods for RCA Records for the Record Company award, Sony Music Commercial Group for both their Roy Orbison and Britney Spears Catalogue Marketing Campaigns, and Tom Grennan (Insanity Records) and Sigala (Ministry Of Sound Recordings) will compete with George Ezra for the Artist Marketing Campaign award.
The Music Week Awards, in association with YouTube Music, which recognise achievements across 21 categories spanning the entire music business, take place on Thursday 9th May at a new venue for 2019, Battersea Evolution. BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley has been unveiled as the host of this year’s awards ceremony.
