Sony Music artists nominated for BRIT Awards 2020
Nominations for the 2020 BRIT Awards have been announced, with Sony Music artists in the running for 11 of the awards.
Harry Styles has received two nominations, for British Male Solo Artist and Mastercard British Album of The Year.
There were three Sony Music nominations in the Best Song category, including two huge Sony collaborations: Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man’s ‘Giant’ and Mark Ronson & Miley Cyrus’ ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’. After winning British Breakthrough last year, Tom Walker has also been nominated for Best Song for ‘Just You and I’.
Following their first UK No.1 album and a GRAMMY nomination for amo, Bring Me The Horizon have been nominated for Group of the Year, while Aitch has been nominated for Best New Artist after the success of his AitcH2O EP. Joy Crookes was also shortlisted for the BRITs Rising Star award.
In the international categories, Bruce Springsteen and Tyler, the Creator were both nominated for International Male while Camila Cabello is up for International Female.
The winners will be announced at the 2020 BRIT Awards, which are set to take place on 18th February at the O2 Arena in London and will be broadcast live on ITV.
