Sony Music artists nominated at 2022 MOBO Awards
The MOBO Awards honour achievements in ‘music of black origin’, including hip hop, grime, UK Drill, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel and African music.
Sony Music artists including Koffee, Tems, Skillibeng, M24 and Russ Millions have all been nominated in Caribbean, African and Drill in their respective categories.
Headie One has been nominated for Best Drill Act and Video of The Year with ‘Can’t Be Us’ featuring Abra Cadabra & Bandokay.
Labrinth is up for Best Producer alongside JAE5, who has been nominated in the same category for three consecutive years. In the Best Newcomer category, Amaria BB, Cristale, and SwitchOTR have been shortlisted, with Cat Burns being announced as the evening’s headliner.
After releasing her fourth No.1 album Renaissance, Beyoncé is nominated for Best International Act, alongside Chris Brown and Jazmine Sullivan.
The winners will be announced at the awards show on Wednesday 30th November, which will take place at OVO Arena Wembley.
