Paloma Faith releases new album ‘Infinite Things’
Paloma Faith’s fifth studio album Infinite Things is out now via RCA Records, featuring the hit singles ‘Gold’ and ‘Better Than This’.
Paloma wrote most of the songs for the record before the Covid-19 pandemic swept the world – but when the UK went into lockdown, she ripped them all up and started afresh. She recorded the album in her basement, teaching herself how to produce her own vocals.
Speaking about the album, she said “I’m trying to relinquish the expectation that a lot of people are raised with, that the only good life is a happy one. I don’t think that’s realistic. It’s about the peaks and troughs, because if you didn’t have one you wouldn’t recognise the other.”
Infinite Things was created with long-time and new collaborators including producers Patrick Wimberly and Detonate, songwriters Ed Harcourt, Starsmith and Tre Jean-Marie plus producer and songwriter MNEK and friend Josef Salvat.
Paloma is set to hit the road for a huge 26-date UK tour in autumn 2021, including two nights at London’s iconic Palladium. Tickets are available now via PalomaFaith.com.
