One Direction, Calvin Harris and Little Mix occupy Top 3 in singles chart
Congratulations to Sony Music artists One Direction, Calvin Harris and Little Mix who occupy the Top 3 single chart positions this week.
Syco Music’s One Direction has claimed the top spot in this week’s singles chart with their 4th Number 1 single ‘Drag Me Down’ after a record-breaking week. The band dropped the single on Friday 31st July without warning and it became the first ever song to top Spotify’s Global Chart in 24 hours, being streamed a record-breaking 4.75 million times on Spotify on the day of release. The single was also Number 1 on iTunes in 86 countries.
Columbia’s Calvin Harris is at Number 2 with his single ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ in collaboration with Disciples. Meanwhile Little Mix are at number 3 with ‘Black Magic’ after enjoying three weeks at Number 1, giving Syco Music two artists in the Top 3 this week.
