Kasabian to livestream ‘Are You Looking for Action?’ video in one take
Following the release of their sixth studio album For Crying Out Loud, Kasabian are set to launch a groundbreaking real-time video for new single Are You Looking for Action? today, in association with LADbible.
Co-directed by Aitor Throup (who designed and art directed For Crying Out Loud) and Sing J Lee, the video will be one of the first of its kind: filmed live and shot in one continuous take, streamed via LADbible’s and Kasabian’s Facebook pages.
Filmed in a secret East London location, the video features Serge and Tom in a hazy nightclub setting with a crowd of onlookers seemingly from their past. Only certain aspects of the video will be controlled, with elements of the band’s performance improvised live.
Serge said, “the beauty and magic of this video will be the fact that all outfit changes and camera moves will happen live. We want to nail it, but we are also excited about the mistakes.”
Tune in at 7pm BST tonight to watch the Are You Looking for Action? video on LADbible’s or Kasabian’s Facebook page.
