Dorothy Hui named in Involve’s 2022 Empower Executive Role Model List
We’re proud to announce that Dorothy Hui, SVP, Digital & Audience Development at Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative, has been named in Involve’s 2022 Empower Executive Role Model List.
The global list celebrates 100 people of colour who are leading by example and removing barriers on the pathway to success for ethnic minority employees. All the executives were nominated by peers and colleagues, with nominations reviewed by EMpower’s judging panel.
Dorothy co-chairs the UK arm of Sony Music’s Global Social Justice Fund, which forms part of Sony Music Group’s commitment to support social justice and anti-racist initiatives worldwide. She is a sponsor for Sony Music UK’s internal employee resource group HUE (Helping Unite Everyone), established in 2020 with the aim of increasing diversity and inclusion within the company.
Dorothy helped facilitate the launch of Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative Academy in partnership with charity organisation Small Green Shoots, a programme providing minority and underprivileged young people with an opportunity to hone their skills within the music industry.
