Dolly Parton announces new album ‘Pure & Simple’
Country legend Dolly Parton has announced new single Pure & Simple alongside the pre-order of her album, which is due for release on 19th August 2016.
Dolly says, “this new Pure & Simple project is really special to me because I’m taking my fans back to my roots. I feel like these songs have a pure, tender side and we didn’t go overboard with arrangements. I’m so glad we’ve teamed up with our friends at Sony to get this album out to the fans.”
Ken Bruce premiered the new single on BBC Radio 2 in the UK, whilst the lyric video premiered exclusively on The Huffington Post.
The first disc of the new album features a collection of brand new studio material that was written and co-produced by Dolly whilst the second disc includes tracks from her iconic live set from Glastonbury 2014.
Dolly Parton has sold more than 100 million records in a career that spans 52 years.
