Britney Spears releases ‘Glory’ and launches EE and Apple Music partnership
Britney Spears’ long-awaited ninth studio album, Glory, is released today [Friday 26th August] – and she has also joined actor Kevin Bacon on screen for EE’s new TV ad, which goes live on the same day.
The ad marks the launch of EE’s new partnership with Apple Music. The multi-million pound, multi-channel campaign will run for one month, with the 40-second commercial set to feature during the first episode of the new series of The X Factor on prime-time ITV this weekend.
Britney Spears said, “this was such a fun ad to be a part of. Footloose is one of my favourite films – so working with Kevin Bacon was a real treat. He was so much fun to be around and seeing him in my Oops catsuit was hilarious. My new album Glory will be available to stream on Apple Music, so this was a brilliant opportunity to join up with EE and promote this offer and the service. I’m always streaming music on my phone, so I get how important this offer is for people like me who love music.”
