Sony Music artists nominated for the 2024 UK Music Video Awards

Nominations for the 2024 UK Music Video Awards have been announced, with many Sony Music projects among those up for the creativity honours.

Jade leads with five nominations, four for the official music video for ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ by last year’s Best Director winner Aube Perrie, as well as a nod for the live ‘S.A.D.’ version from Theo Adams and Sophie Muller. Among the other British artists to make headlines in the shortlists, multiple nods go to J Hus, Rio Rainz, and Depeche Mode.

Internationally, previous UKMVA multi-nominee Childish Gambino has five nominations and last year’s Video of the Year winner, METTE, has four for her video for ‘Bet’. Among the international categories for Best Hip Hop and Pop, LISA, Doja Cat, and Travis Scott were also recognised. In addition to the craft and technical categories, Pink and 21 Savage are nominated for best colour grading and editing. Kat Cattaneo and Michael Lewin are both nominated for best creative commissioner in the individual and company categories.

The winners at this year’s UKMVAs, which began in 2008 and have become the leading global awards programme in the world of music video production, will be announced on 24 October at a ceremony held at Magazine, London.

Congratulations to our nominated artists and creative teams.
