Fredo releases third album ‘Independence Day’
Fredo has released his highly anticipated new album, Independence Day, via Since ‘93.
The record arrives alongside the video for the track ‘Flowers and the Snow’. Directed by Nathan James Tettey (Stormzy, Dave, Headie One, Pa Saleiu), the visual brings the tropics and the arctic to a mansion on Park Lane.
The last four years have been an impressive journey for Fredo. His 2018 mixtape Tables Turn charted at No.5 and became the fourth biggest UK debut release that year, while ‘Funky Friday’ with Dave saw him claim his first No.1 single.
In 2019 he released his No.5 charting album Third Avenue and hit single ‘Netflix & Chill’, selling out his entire UK and Ireland tour. He also appeared on stage with Dave during Stormzy’s headline set at Glastonbury to perform ‘Funky Friday’.
Earlier this year Fredo released Money Can’t Buy Happiness. Featuring the likes of Pop Smoke and Summer Walker, the album charted at No.2 in the UK.
