Foo Fighters score their fifth No.1 album with ‘Medicine at Midnight’
Foo Fighters have rocketed straight to No.1 with their tenth studio album, Medicine at Midnight.
The release marks Foo Fighters’ fifth UK No.1 album, following One By One (2002), Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007), Wasting Light (2011) and Concrete & Gold (2017).
“I would like to thank everyone for honouring us with this No.1 record,” said Dave Grohl. “After 25 years of being a band, it still kind of blows our minds that this could actually happen and we’re very grateful and very thankful.
“We can’t wait to get back there to see you guys – sooner than later, I hope! We’re ready: every day we’re one step closer. Thank you very much, it’s an honour to have this No.1 record. See you soon!”
Medicine at Midnight was produced by Greg Kurstin and Foo Fighters, engineered by Darrell Thorp and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. Listen to the album.
