58th Annual Grammy Award Nominations Announced
The full list of nominees for the 58th Grammy Awards have been announced today (7th December 2015).
Nominees for the prestigious awards include Mark Ronson who is up for three categories, including Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Foo Fighters have been nominated for two awards including Best Rock Performance and Best Music Film for their documentary ‘Sonic Highways’.
Meghan Trainor has been nominated for Best New Artist whilst Elle King’s ‘Ex’s & Oh’s’ is up for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.
Kelly Clarkson has been nominated in two categories – Best Pop Vocal Album with ‘Piece by Piece’ and Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit single ‘Heartbeat Song’.
Other Sony Music nominations include D’Angelo (Record of the Year), Bob Dylan (Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album), Tony Bennett (Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album), The Internet, (Best Urban Contemporary Album), Miguel (Best Urban Contemporary Album) and J.Cole (Best Rap Album).
The 58th Grammy Awards will be held on February on 15th February 2016 in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS at 8pm (PST).
